Reaching Safety net takes €530 a month on top of the usual saving until Jul 2027. After that the plan goes back to normal.

In Wealthos these come from your tracked plans and goals.

The surplus that funds it all

Track income and expenses by category. What's left each month is the number every forecast and goal runs on.

And the numbers only you track

Describe a metric in plain words. Wealthos works it out and keeps it beside the built-in ones.

    Your AI, connected

Ask your AI about your money

Your AI tools can connect to Wealthos locally on your machine. They can read balances, add entries, create financial plans, and run forecasts. Nothing goes online.

    Your AI tool runs
$ wealthos-core mcp-stdio ~/Wealthos-local-folder→ 46 tools · accounts, goals, plans, forecasts→ runs on your Mac · no internet connection used

Nothing is sent online, and nothing else on your network can reach it.

Your money never reaches our servers

No account. No sign-in. Nothing of yours on our infrastructure, so there is nothing for us to read, sell, or lose. Below is exactly what does leave your Mac — and what happens when you point an AI at it.

    Stays on your Mac

Your data lives as files in a folder you pick. It never touches our servers. We don't have access to it.

    Works offline

The whole app runs with no connection. On a plane, off the grid — the only thing that wants a network is the exchange-rate refresh, and it falls back to the last rates it cached.

    Nothing to breach

No account. No password. No company holding your data. We have nothing to leak because we have nothing of yours.

    What actually leaves your Mac

Three network calls, and none of them carry your finances. Everything else stays in the folder you picked.

    WhatGoes whereExactly what is sent
Exchange ratesopen.er-api.comOne three-letter currency code, e.g. “EUR”. Nothing about your accounts, balances or holdings. Cached for 12 hours and reused offline.
Licence activationapi.polar.shOnce, when you enter your key: the key itself, our organisation id, and the label “Wealthos Desktop”. No name, no email, no machine identifier.
Update checkwealthos.ccOne anonymous GET for a static version file, at most once a day. No identifiers are sent, and nothing downloads or installs itself.

    Never sent, ever

    • Your balances, transactions, goals or forecasts — none of it is sent anywhere by the app
    • Analytics or telemetry of any kind: the local build ships without them, and the release check fails if any analytics code leaks in
    • Any account, because there is no account to create

    The part most pages skip

When you connect Claude Desktop, Cursor or any other AI client, the numbers it reads become part of that conversation — so they reach that model provider, exactly as if you had typed them in yourself. Wealthos never sees it. Their provider does.

This is the one part you can remove entirely. The server speaks plain stdio with no URL or API key, so a client running a model on your own machine — LM Studio, for one — connects to exactly the same 46 tools. Local file, local server, local model: then nothing leaves at all.
