The best net worth trackers for expats in Europe
Most net-worth apps assume one country and one currency. Move abroad and the assumption breaks: your old accounts stop syncing, the totals convert at the wrong rate or not at all, and you end up back in a spreadsheet. These five handle multiple countries properly. They are not equally good at it, and the cheapest is genuinely the best fit for a lot of people.
Prices checked August 2026. We build one of the products on this list — see how the ranking was made below.
How this list was made
- Ranked for one situation: accounts in more than one European country, in more than one currency. A tool that is excellent for a single-country user can still place low here.
- European bank connectivity weighted heaviest. A tracker that cannot read a eurozone bank leaves you typing balances in by hand, which is where the spreadsheet came from.
- Price counted as a feature. Several of these do the core job well, and at that point cost decides.
- We build one of these. It is not first, because for plain tracking it should not be.

PopaDex
Most expats who want an accurate multi-country net worth and nothing more.
Free tier; around €60/yr paid
Strengths
- Bank sync across 30+ countries — the broadest country coverage in this list.
- A real free tier to start on, then a paid plan cheaper than anything else here.
- Multi-currency handled properly rather than bolted on.
- FIRE planning built in.
Limitations
- Tracking and reporting, not forecasting — no multi-year projection with life events.
- No AI assistant or agent surface.
Does the plain job this page is about — an accurate multi-country total — for less than anything else here.

Finary
Expats whose wealth is mostly invested, and who want to know what it is costing them.
Free; Lite €54.99/yr; Plus €149.99/yr
Strengths
- 20,000+ bank and broker connections — the widest here for investment accounts.
- A fee scanner that surfaces what your funds quietly charge you.
- Diversification and performance analysis nothing else in this list attempts.
- EU company, EU hosting, free tier.
Limitations
- Portfolio analysis rather than forecasting — no multi-year projection.
- The features most people come for sit in the €149.99 tier.
The best choice if your question is about the portfolio itself rather than the years ahead.

Wealthos
That's usExpats with a decision in front of them — a house, a move, a career break — not just a number to watch.
€7/mo or €63/yr; €45 one-time for the local desktop app
Strengths
- 3,000+ EU and UK banks through regulated PSD2 Open Banking.
- A 10-year forecast in your home currency, with life events dropped onto the timeline.
- Two scenarios compared side by side, which is the actual shape of a relocation decision.
- 46 MCP tools so Claude or ChatGPT can read your real figures and write a plan back.
- A local desktop edition that keeps everything in a file on your own machine.
Limitations
- More expensive than PopaDex and with no free tier — only a 7-day trial.
- European bank coverage; accounts outside the EU and UK are manual.
- Lighter investment analysis than a dedicated portfolio tracker.
Worth the premium only if you want the forecast. For tracking alone, the two above do it for less.

PocketSmith
Expats banking in the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand or Canada who want deep cash-flow forecasting.
Free tier; $119.88–$319.92/yr
Strengths
- The deepest forecasting in this category — up to 30 years on the mid tier.
- An excellent calendar view of future cash flow.
- Native multi-currency with any base currency.
- A decade-plus track record and a free tier.
Limitations
- Automatic feeds cover the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada — not the eurozone. German, French, Nordic and Benelux accounts mean manual CSV imports.
- Connecting banks across countries requires the $199.92 tier.
Superb forecasting, in the wrong place for most of continental Europe. Excellent if your banks are on its list.

- 20,000+ global bank and brokerage connections.
- Real-time valuation across global exchanges.

The right answer for a complicated balance sheet, and an expensive one for a simple one.

The bottom line
There is no single right answer here, because "expat" covers wildly different situations — a contractor with two current accounts and a professional with property in three countries need different tools. Each of these is the best choice for someone:
- PopaDex
- For an accurate multi-country net worth and nothing more. Broadest country coverage here, with a free tier to start on.
- Finary
- For wealth that is mostly invested, when you want to see how it is allocated and what it is costing you in fees.
- Wealthos
- For when you have a decision in front of you — a house, a move, a career break — and want to see how it plays out before you commit.
- PocketSmith
- For cash-flow forecasting, if you bank in the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. It cannot reach eurozone accounts.
- Kubera
- For a genuinely complex balance sheet — crypto, DeFi, property in several countries — and priced accordingly.
